Jump Start Your Workout with STEMs (Exercise 5 of 12)

Sit on a chair or solid surface with your back straight and tall, and your feet firmly on the ground (about shoulder width apart).

  1. Hold your arms out and lightly cross them in front by grabbing your elbow.
  2. Lift your arms over your head, and breathe in going up, and exhale coming down.
  3. Do this repetition six times.
  4. Shake your shoulders out.
  5. Cross your arms in front again.
  6. Starting on your right side, lift them over your head and bend sideways down (exhale) and up (inhale).
  7. Repeat on your left side.
  8. Do this six times.
