Rory Lafferty

Rory Lafferty is director of Government Affairs at HAP.  Active in health policy at the state and national level, Rory is the chair of the Michigan Association of Health Plan’s Legislative Committee and a member of the Michigan Public Health Advisory Council.  He also participates in several policy workgroups within the Alliance of Community Health Plans.

Prior to joining HAP, Rory worked for the Michigan Legislature as a legislative aide and legislative policy analyst.  His areas of expertise are health policy and legislative affairs.

Rory holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Central Michigan University.
